Native Lens—Strength Through Storytelling

Date & Time: Sunday, March 14, 5p.m. – 6:15 p.m. MT

KSUT Tribal Radio and Rocky Mountain PBS host a virtual screening to highlight several of the storytellers featured in the crowdsourced Native and Indigenous digital storytelling project, Native Lens. Guests will gather virtually on Sunday, March 14, at 5 p.m. Mountain Time to watch short films submitted from Native and Indigenous communities across North America, with commentary from three insightful hosts: Ernest House Jr. (former Executive Director of the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs), Tanaya Winder (poet, speaker, and musician – Pyramid Lake Piaute, Southern Ute, Duckwater Shoshone), and Enrique Jimenez (Digital Producer and Musician – Mixteca Alta). Guests will also see exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from storytellers on their lives at home, their artistic process, and what they are doing now.

Out Women in Business Conference

The 7th annual Out Women in Business Conference (OWIB) was created by LBT+ women for LBT+ women and will take place virtually on Friday, March 26, 2021. We are planning to have a number of dynamic speakers lead the discussion through panels, presentations, and breakout sessions designed to educate, inspire, and connect women at every step of their careers.

The conference also provides a cross-section of LBT+ experiences while encouraging future generations to enter the business world.
